Work Readiness

All aspects of employment are reviewed and can be customized for an individual or group based upon employment history and work experience. This program is offered for five (5) sessions for youth 13-17 years of age.


Young Women's Empowerment Group

Young ladies ages 13-17 discuss life-skills to encourage and promote effective personal growth and development. This program is offered over a 16-week period with two (2) sessions per week.


Intervention

Young men concentrate on life-skills to help them develop responsible behavior. This program is offered over a 16-week period with two (2) sessions per week to youth ages 13-17.


Summer Camp

This program engages youth, ages 7-11, in cultural activities and skill development activities during the summer.


P.R.O.U.D. II

This program will provide additional services to current participants, past graduates, and clients transitioning back into the community. The goal is to implement more work readiness/job trainings, additional educational training, and mental health assessments. Another focus will be on SAT prep, trade school programs, and community college application assistance. Each session will consist of weekly workshops that will last 2 hours a session.

Leadership

The P.R.O.U.D. program has established itself as a leader in guided growth activities for at risk youth. Our recidivism rate for the more tham 1000 youth that have graduated from the program is less than 15%. Evaluation of our success to date has included telephone contact with the families, monitoring of juvenile Court and School records, and contact with Adult Probation
